In just over one week, the stage will be set. Over 300 employers will be setting up in the Devos Place with internships and full time jobs to promote to many GVSU students on the prowl for insightful experiences. If you have not had the luck in securing that internship for the summer yet, do not worry. This is your chance to collect info and submit your resume to various employers while delivering your perfectly executed “elevator speech”.

Having a successful Career Fair starts with preparation. An employer will be impressed by what you already know about the company and the positions they offer through the questions you have. The first step is to obtain a list of participating employers from LakerJobs. From this list, plan what companies you will visit. Now, you should develop a list of questions to ask employers after viewing all the organizations and positions they are offering.
